Staff Safety Systems Engineer, Fleet Services
Facilitate deep-dives into field events and cloud service interruptions to identify design improvements and prevent future systemic failures. Required qualifications: Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field Five or more years experience in systems engineering, safety engineering, or a related field Experience writing verifiable functional and non-functional requirements, preferably in autonomous systems, dependable distributed systems, or system-of-systems contexts Strong foundation in verification and validation methods for safety-critical or mission-critical systems where human-machine interaction is a core component. Proven ability to work in high-ambiguity environments with evolving priorities, while managing diverse stakeholders across software, product, and operations teams Desirable qualifications Experience deploying features or products at scale within a logistics or freight environment Familiarity with cloud-based dashboarding and performance monitoring for distributed systems Experience with various testing modalities and strategies Familiarity with microservices architecture, cloud infrastructure, operational tooling, and modern release processes (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability stacks) Familiarity with modern programming languages (e.g., C++ and Golang) and API frameworks (gRPC/REST) #LI-KS1 #Mid-Senior
