Northrop Grumman Space Systems – Missile Defense Integration (MDI) Business Unit has an exciting career opportunity in Huntsville, Alabama for a Staff Systems or Software Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals, serving as the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon Systems (GWS) GMD Fire Control (GFC) as an Execution Lead. Position Overview The selected Staff Software or Systems Engineer will support the GFC Product Manager by providing technical product team leadership oversight, and will be responsible for the development and integration of the GFC road map in collaboration with the GFC Architect, and will spearhead the planning of GFC capabilities to be developed within each GWS planning increment, support product development and integration, resolve technical issues from an engineering viewpoint, support proposals, and brief senior internal and external leadership from a technical and programmatic stature.
