Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, Map Creation Systems

We’re searching for a Senior Full Stack UX Software Engineer on Map Creation Systems . We develop and optimize UX systems for efficient, high-quality static and dynamic map creation, focusing on managing workflows for faster updates, simplification, and improving data repair/reconstruction. Our work also includes supporting systems for geospatial label creation (model training), map validation, and using geospatial algorithms to reduce manual effort and accelerate turnaround. This is crucial for autonomy and business scaling, as our maps ensure successful autonomous fleet operation and meet strict quality standards. This role requires a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration and partnership with delivery teams to drive critical initiatives. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building frameworks and solutions that are vital for the long-term scaling strategy of the business. In this role, you will: Lead the entire feature lifecycle for our mapping system, from designing the architecture to implementing both backend services and the user interface. Architect and develop highly responsive, geospatially distributed backend services and data pipelines for processing and serving complex map data. Build sophisticated and responsive web applications, translating complex datasets into powerful, intuitive products for our users. Influence the technical direction and roadmap of the team. Mentor engineers through design reviews and collaboration, and continuously work to improve system architecture and reliability.
