Staff Engineer, Cyber Fraud

We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Engineer to be the technical anchor of Shipt’s fraud prevention ecosystem. You will not only lead engineering efforts to design and implement complex, scalable risk assessment systems required to react quickly to protect Shipt’s bottom line, but also act as a strategic lead with cross-functional teams to ensure that fraud and abuse are systematically prevented. This role will directly contribute to the mission of protecting customer, shopper, and business data from exfiltration by unauthorized parties, and prevent material financial losses to ensure that user confidence remains high while our business grows. In this role you will architect, build, and deploy mission critical APIs and services while ensuring high code quality, security, and scalability. You will also create low latency integrations that detect and address realtime fraud and abuse across Shipt’s ecosystem. As a SME for the Cyber Fraud team, you will collaborate with cross functional teams and lead architectural design reviews, providing technical mentorship to junior and senior engineers.
